JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (December 7, 2019) – All 11 players who dressed scored for NJCAA No. 9/Region 8 No. 3 Tallahassee Community College in Saturday's 83-42 win at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
The Eagles have won five straight games to improve to 12-1 on the season.
Saturday's outcome was never in doubt. The Eagles raced out to a 47-18 lead at the half and put things in cruise control over the final 20 minutes.
Tallahassee shot a robust 55.9 percent (33-of-59) from the field, including 52.0 percent (13-of-25) from the three-point line.
DeAndre Gholston hit all seven of his field goal attempts, including four from long distance, to finish with a team-high 19 points.
Eric Hester was the only other player in double-figures with 15, but the nine remaining players all entered the scoring column. DeAndre Robinson scored six points, DiShon Williams-Daniels had three, and Tyler Culbreth and Josiah Mitchell had two points each.
Tallahassee will return to play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when it hosts Albany (Ga.) Technical College.
