Forty student-athletes earn fall academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 26, 2017) - During the recently completed Fall 2016 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 40 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom. 

Seven student-athletes were named to the President's List after achieving a 4.0 GPA during the fall term: Brandie Callaway, softball; Elisa Cecchetti, softball; Jack Hartman, baseball; Alyssa NeSmith, softball; Payton Parker, softball; Ellie Stubblefield, cross country; and Shaigna Wentz, women's basketball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Zach Barker, baseball; Brooke Bates, softball; Casey Cribb, baseball; Bamba Jaye, men's basketball; Rosanna Jenije, women's basketball; Octavio Marin, baseball; Raya Moncus, softball; Callie Paine, softball; Regan Ward, cross country; Mia Wiederkehr, cross country; and Cole Vann, baseball. 

Other student-athletes who achieved a minimum 3.0 GPA and received honors recognition include: Nakiah Black, women's basketball; Jewliana Castillo, softball; Eleana Daniels, women's basketball; Christian Dearman, baseball; Kacie Dobyanski, softball; Casey Durham, softball; Kiara Gaines, women's basketball; Kristin Gunter, softball; Aaron Haughton, baseball; Jeremy Hayes, men's basketball; Japonica James, women's basketball; Lindsay John, women's basketball; Ashley Jones, cross country; Samantha Malik, softball; Nick Marchese, baseball; Tucker Rayburn, baseball; Alyssa Rosenbaum, softball; Cassidy Strickling, softball; Hunter Tinsley, baseball; Tre Todd, men's basketball; Sina Ulbe, women's basketball and Lawriell Wilson, women's basketball. 

TCC Athletics recognized its fall honor roll students during Tuesday's basketball doubleheader against Pensacola State College.
