Thirty-one student-athletes earn summer academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 26, 2017) - During the recently completed Summer 2017 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 31 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom. 

Seven student-athletes were named to the President's List after achieving a 4.0 GPA during the spring term: Chris Clark, baseball; Kacie Dobyanski, softball; Dawn Gibson, women's basketball; Aaron Haughton, baseball; Samantha Malik, softball; Ellie Stubblefield, cross country; Regan Ward, cross country. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): Jordan Curtis, baseball; C.J. Fisher, men's basketball; Quentin Jackson, men's basketball; Ashley Jones, cross country; Niko Leontarakis, baseball; Cassidy Strickling, softball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor's List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Sabrina Banks, women's basketball; Nakiah Black, women's basketball; Nick Blasucci, baseball; Brooks Buckler, baseball; Clover Carithers, cross country; Jewliana Castillo, softball; Japonica James, women's basketball; Monet Madeux, cross country; Callie Paine, softball; Jeanna Prisco, cross country; K.J. Santos, men's basketball; Alycia Smith, softball. 

The following student-athletes received Presidential Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a 4.0 GPA): Chris Agbo, men's basketball. 

The following student-athletes received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a 3.0-3.99 GPA): Mari Hill, women's basketball; Jamyra McChristine, women's basketball; Jada Perry, women's basketball; Juliunn Redmond, women's basketball; Soukaina Tracy, women's basketball.
