Eagle women slip to No. 8 in FCSAA rankings

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 12, 2014) – Tallahassee Community College dropped one spot to No. 8 in the latest FCSAA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll, released on Tuesday. 

The Eagles swapped spots in the rankings with No. 7 Hillsborough Community College. 

Chipola College and Northwest Florida State College continue to sit at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, followed by Gulf Coast State College, who climbed back into the No. 3 spot. 

St. Petersburg College moved up two spots to No. 4 after knocking off then-No. 3 Palm Beach State College on Saturday. Florida State College at Jacksonville remained at No. 5 and Palm Beach State dropped to sixth. 

Pensacola State College and Santa Fe College round out the poll at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. 

Tallahassee is not ranked but did receive votes in the men’s poll.
