Twenty-four student-athletes earn spring academic accolades at TCC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 27, 2014) - During the recently completed Spring 2014 semester at Tallahassee Community College, a total of 24 student-athletes earned honors recognition for their work in the classroom. 

The following student-athletes were named to the President’s List (4.0 GPA): Brenna Courtemanche, softball; Johnny Blue Craig, baseball; Alexis Huss, softball; Ben Levine, baseball; Collin Strall, baseball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Dean's List (3.5-3.99 GPA): D’arcy Draper, women’s basketball; Taesha DuBoise, softball; Riley Hodge, baseball; Dillon Jayne, baseball; Teleshia Riley, women’s basketball; Karley Yeager, softball. 

The following student-athletes were named to the Honor’s List (3.0-3.49 GPA): Victor Cole, baseball; Shaun Herbert, baseball; Te Reo Powhiri Matautia, softball; Ricky Negron, baseball; Connor O’Brien, baseball; Aiyannah Peal, women’s basketball; Jasmine Queen, women’s basketball; Mariah Rivera, softball; Michael Saxton, men’s basketball; Will Thompson, baseball. 

The following student-athletes received Merit Recognition (students who are in developmental courses and complete a minimum of six hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA): Benedicta Makakala, women’s basketball; Marija Pacar, women’s basketball; Danielle Patterson, softball.
