BRADENTON, Fla. (February 17, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College dropped game one of a two-game weekend set with State College of Florida on Friday, losing by the score of 5-2.
The loss snapped a modest two-game winning streak for the Eagles, who fell to 7-6 on the season. State College of Florida is now 11-3.
By losing, head coach Mike McLeod's win total remains at 898, ensuring the pursuit of career win No. 900 will return to Eagle Field.
Tallahassee is scheduled for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday at State College of Florida before returning home to host Thomas University's JV squad for a doubleheader on Monday.
