PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 23, 2017) – Hunter Shuff pitched a three-hit shutout in Tallahassee Community College's 10-0, eight-inning win over Pensacola State College on Thursday.
Tallahassee (19-17) moved into third place in the PC standings with the victory. Since starting PC play 0-5, the Eagles have won four of five to improve to 4-6.
Shuff didn't record any strikeouts but he walked only one batter, keeping the Pirates at bay from the outset.
Tucker Rayburn led the Eagles' offensive attack, going 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs.
Tallahassee and Pensacola State will wrap up the four-game series with a doubleheader at Eagle Field on Saturday. The teams will play two seven-inning games beginning at 1 p.m.
