GAINESVILLE, Fla. (January 30, 2018) – Santa Fe College's Kyler Marquis smacked a two-out, two-run walk-off home run, lifting the Saints to an 8-7, come-from-behind victory over Tallahassee Community College on Tuesday afternoon.
The homer completed a rally from a 7-1 deficit midway through the game.

Stobert took the mound in the bottom half of the inning but was relieved following a leadoff homer and single to start the frame.
Santa Fe eventually scored three runs in the inning to make it a ballgame. The Saints scored two more in the bottom of the eighth to pull within a run.
In the bottom of the ninth, Haydn Cano led things off with a single but the Eagles' Malik Barrington picked off pinch runner Parker Biederer for the first out and retired Brock Edge on a grounder for out number two.
Jarret Pico kept the Saints alive with a two-out double, setting the stage for Marquis who sent Barrington's 1-1 pitch over the wall.
Tallahassee took advantage of three Santa Fe errors en route to the 7-1 lead.
In the third, Cole Vann scored on a Saints miscue to break a 1-1 tie. With the score 4-1 in the sixth, a two-out error allowed Rawlins Cleveland to score from third. With the inning extended, the Eagles took advantage.
Following a walk, Vann doubled home Trey Polewski and Tanner Thomas to increase Tallahassee's lead to 7-1.
