#TCCBaseball drops PC finale

NICEVILLE, Fla. (April 25, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College lost its Panhandle Conference finale on Wednesday, falling to Northwest Florida State College, 11-1 in five innings.

Tallahassee ends the PC schedule with a 13-11 record, good for a second-place finish behind league champion Chipola College (18-6). The Eagles are 35-18 overall.

The Eagles managed just one more hit (4) than errors (3) on Wednesday and found itself down 7-0 after three innings.

Three of Tallahassee's hits came in back-to-back-to-back fashion to start the fifth. Taylor Lomack, Trey Polewski and Alex Mills all singled to load the bases with nobody out, but Kyle Benson hit into a double play, which scored Lomack but ended the Eagles' only real scoring threat of the game.

Northwest Florida State ended the game with four runs in the bottom of the fifth for the run-rule victory.

Tucker Rayburn had the Eagles' only other hit.

Malik Barrington (2-2) started and took the loss for Tallahassee.
