#TCCBaseball: Jeffcoat, Hansen lead All-PC picks

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 5, 2021) – Four players, including two first-team selections, represented Tallahassee Community College on the All-Panhandle Conference baseball teams, as voted upon by the league's coaches. 

Sophomores Trent Jeffcoat and Spencer Hanson garnered first-team honors while sophomores Tanner Martin and Dilan Lawson made the second-team. 

Jeffcoat, a native of Pensacola, Fla., played in 44 games, primarily as the Eagles' starting second baseman, although he also logged time at shortstop. He led the Eagles with a .368 batting average, 31 runs scored and 21 stolen bases. He also drove in 24 runs, third-best on the team. 

Hanson, who hails from Leesburg, Ga., played in 37 games, splitting time between the outfield and serving as the team's designated hitter. He batted .327 with two home runs and 19 RBI. 

Martin, a native of Leesburg, Fla., pitched in 13 games, all but one coming in a relief role. The right-hander compiled a record of 4-1 with a 1.95 ERA. In 27.2 innings, he allowed just 19 hits, eight walks and six earned runs while striking out 37. 

Lawson, a native of Madison, Fla., played in 46 games, seeing time at first base, designated hitter and the outfield. He also started 11 games on the mound. Offensively, he batted .279 with three home runs and 18 RBI.
