TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (December 12, 2018) – Six players scored in double-figures for NJCAA No. 5/Region 8 No. 1 Tallahassee Community College in a 114-56 win over Red Devils Basketball Academy on Wednesday afternoon.
The Eagles head into the Christmas break with a 15-0 record.
Salisu Yahaya's 19 points and 20 rebounds paced the Tallahassee attack. He was one of two players to record double-doubles. Richard Washington had 18 points and 12 assists.
Deven Palmer joined Yahaya with 19 points. Shamon Mosley had 16. Zool Kueth added 15 and Mustafa Lawrence, 14.
On the strength of 8-of-16 three-pointers, the Eagles raced out to a 60-24 lead at the half then upped their lead to as many as 61 in the final seconds.
The Eagles will return to action on December 28 and 29 when it hosts the Tallahassee Democrat Holiday Classic.
