Bio

Jarrett Clifton is beginning his first season with TCC Men's Basketball, working under head coach Corey Hendren. 

Clifton was most recently an assistant coach at Bossier Parish Community College (2021-23), serving under head coach J.A. Anglin. Clifton worked primarily with the guards, and in his first season, two student-athletes received All-Region XIV honors and went on to sign NCAA Division I scholarships. During Clifton's first season on staff, the Cavaliers finished with a 16-14 record, including two wins against top-10 opponents. 

Prior to his time at Bossier Parish, Clifton was a graduate assistant at Angelo State University (2019-21). In the  2019-20 season, Angel State reched the NCAA Division II tournament as a four-seed before the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At ASU, Clifton coached three players that received second-team All-Conference honors. 

Clifton, a Pensacola native, began his coaching career in the high school ranks, working as both an assistant and head coach in west Florida from 2014-19. Clifton has a bachelor's degree in fitness and sport coaching from the University of West Florida. While at Angelo State, he earned his master's degree in coaching, sport, recreation and fitness administation.
