2017-18 (at Tallahassee): A late addition to the Tallahassee roster...debuted at the Cougar XC Challenge (8/25/17) where he ran a 19:20.76 and finished fourth among male runners...finished in 19:20.76 at the Big Bend XC Invite (9/2/17)...ran a 20:20 at the Prefontaine Forest Run 5K (9/16/17)...ran a 31:49.3 at the Mountain Dew Invitational (9/23/17)...ran a 30:42.0 at the FSU Invitational (10/6/17)...finished 11th in 18:30 at the Sustainable Tallahassee Trash Dash (10/28/17)...ran the half marathon at Barney's Run for Warriors (11/18/17) and was the top overall male runner, finishing in 1:28:13.1, establishing the school record and setting a PR.
High School: Ran cross country and track at Wakulla HS...trained under the late Paul Hoover...Ran multiple races during his track career, including 800M (2:22.12), 1600M (5:15.01), and 3200M (10:44.93)…has ran in multiple XC races in the community and state…received the Coaches Award from his HS coach and is considered a great honor among the high school.
Personal: Born on March 20...son of Richard and Sherry Parks…is related to Elizabeth Orr who played tennis at Blackburn College in Illinois...plans to major in Engineering Technologies.
