OCALA, Fla. (March 5, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College's softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader on Sunday at the College of Central Florida.
The Patriots won by the scores of 10-1 and 9-1, leaving the Eagles with a record of 13-7 heading into the March 14 Panhandle Conference opener.
In game one, the nationally-ranked Patriots jumped out a 4-0 lead after one inning and never looked back en route to the 10-1 victory.
Tallahassee got off to a better start in game two, scoring a run in its first at-bat, but the Eagles could not muster any more offense and fell 9-1 in five innings.
Tallahassee will not play again before the March 14 doubleheader with Chipola, which takes place at the TCC Softball Complex beginning at 4 p.m.
