#TCCSoftball: Russell, Poot earn All-PC honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 1, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College placed two representatives on the Coaches' All-Panhandle Conference softball team. 

Freshman first baseman Olivia Russell was named first-team all-conference while fellow freshman Ismay Poot, who played outfield for the Eagles – was named second-team. 

Russell, a native of Tallahassee, Fla., and graduate of Florida High School, appeared in 42 games for the Eagles and led the team with a .367 batting average and 29 RBI. She also hit one home run during her freshman campaign. 

Poot, who hails from The Netherlands, was second to Russell with a .322 batting average. She finished third on the squad with two home runs and her 18 RBI was fourth-best on the team.
