Michael pitched in both games last week against the NJCAA #15 Gulf Coast State Commodores. In game one she got the start in the circle, and pitched a complete game shutout, striking out eight. The Eagles won 4-0.

She started game two at first base but entered the game to pitch in the sixth, closing out the game with 1.2 shutout innings, getting the save, and securing a 1-0 victory. It was the first doubleheader shutout from Tallahassee since 2017.

Michael leads the Eagles in innings pitched (80.2), strikeouts (80), and ERA (2.26).

The last TCC softball player to be named an NJCAA Player of the Week was Alex Cook on February 28, 2015.
