Bio

Mike Green is entering his first season as an assistant coach at Tallahassee Community College, serving under head coach Brynn Baca.

Green was most recently the head softball coach at St. Petersburg High School (2020-23). During his time at St. Petersburg, he led the Green Devils to two regular season district titles, two appearances in the regional tournament, a Pinellas County Athletic Conference division title, and a District 9 5A Championship, all of which were firsts for the program. Before taking the reins at St. Petersburg, Green coached at Madison Central, returning to his hometown in Madison, FL.

While serving in the United States Air Force, Green got his start playing and coaching fastpitch softball. He grew up playing baseball, and was a star at Madison County High School. He was twice named the team's MVP, and set the school record at the time for batting average, hitting over .600, earning an scholarship at Florida A&M University. Green also garnered interest from several Major League clubs, but a left knee injury forced Green to put his baseball career on hold and join the Air Force. Green continued playing baseball while serving, but ultimately made the transition into fastpitch softball.

Green returns to North Florida with his wife Jasmine. Together they have five kids.
