NJCAA Division I Softball
National Championship Information

The Tallahassee Community College Eagles are the 2014 NJCAA District H Champions and have qualified for the NJCAA Division I Softball National Championship in St. George, Utah, May 14-17.

The tournament will take place at The Canyons Softball Complex, located at 1890 W. 2000 N. in St. George.

Tallahassee will open play in the tournament on Wednesday, May 14 at either 4 pm MT or 6:30 pm MT. 

Seedings and first-round match-ups are expected to be announced on Sunday, May 11. Please visit www.TCCeagles.com for the latest news and information on tournament pairings.

NOTE: St. George, Utah, is in the mountain time zone - two hours behind the city of Tallahassee. All times on the official tournament bracket will be reflected as such.

Select games in the tournament will be streamed online by NJCAA TV (see schedule below)

The winner of the 16-team, double-elimination tournament will be crowned 2014 NJCAA Division I Softball National Champions.

Traveling to St. George

St. George, Utah, is located in the southwestern part of Utah near the Utah-Arizona border. Centrally located within Utah's Color Country, world famous Zion National Park, one of the most scenic destinations in Southern Utah, is located just 43 miles to the Northeast; Bryce Canyon National Park is located near Cedar City, roughly 70 miles to the North; and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is approximately a three-hour drive from St. George. 

While St. George Municipal Airport is situated to the southeast of downtown, Las Vegas, Nev., lies approximately 120 miles to the southwest and is a preferred destination for air travel. Salt Lake City, located 300 miles to the north, is another option.

Pack accordingly! The average high temperature for St. George in the month of May is 85.8 degrees while the average low temperature is 58.7 degrees.

Tickets will be available at The Canyons Complex and prices are as follows:

  • 4-day tournament pass: $35
  • 1-day tournament pass: $16
  • Child & Senior 4-day tournament pass (children ages 6-14 and adults 62 or older): $20
  • Child & Senior 1-day tournament pass (children ages 6-14 and adults 62 or older): $10

NJCAA TV Schedule

NJCAA TV will broadcast 11 games during the tournament. 

  • May 14: Game 4 (4 pm MT), Game 8 (6:30 pm MT)
  • May 15: Game 9 (2:30 pm MT), Game 15 (5 pm MT), Game 17 (7:30 pm MT)
  • May 16: Game 21 (2:30 pm MT), Game 26 (5 pm MT), Game 27 (7:30 pm MT)
  • May 17: Game 29 (10 am MT), Game 30 (12 pm MT), Game 31 (2 pm MT, if necessary)

While in St. George, the Eagles' team headquarters will be the Best Western Plus Coral Hills & Suites, located at 125 E.
