Eagles dominate Chattahoochee Valley for fourth win

PHENIX CITY, Ala. (November 16, 2013) – Tyeshia Guinnie scored a game-high 24 points and Aariel Allen added a double-double for FCSAA No. 5 Tallahassee Community College in its 86-57 win over Chattahoochee Valley (Ala.) Community College on Saturday afternoon.

Tallahassee is now 4-2 on the season.

Chattahoochee Valley blitzed the Eagles early, scoring the first nine points of the game and led 11-2 early on. From that point, however, it was all Tallahassee.

The Eagles outscored the Pirates 36-18 the remainder of the first half and carried a 38-29 lead to the locker room. Tallahassee poured in 48 points in the second half, outscoring its counterparts, 48-28.

Guinnie hit five three-pointers and 8-of-15 shots overall en route to her 24 points. Allen recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Addesha Collins scored 16, as did Teleshia Riley, who came off the bench and hit 6-of-10 shots.

The Eagles will return to action on Friday at Santa Fe College.
