Eagle women drop third straight, fall to 5-5

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (December 3, 2013) - FCSAA No. 7 Tallahassee Community College continued its non-conference schedule on Tuesday evening with a top ten battle at No. 3 Florida State College at Jacksonville.

After dropping two games at last week's Tallahassee Democrat Thanksgiving Classic, the Eagles couldn't reverse the trend on Tuesday, falling to the Blue Wave, 62-51.

Tallahassee is now 5-5 on the season, including a pair of losses to Florida State College.

The Eagles will return to action on Friday at the annual Florida College's Women's Basketball Shootout.

Tallahassee will face a pair of Mid-Florida Conference foes beginning with Friday's 4 p.m. game against Hillsborough Community College, who the Eagles defeated in their season opener on November 1.

On Saturday, the Eagles will look to complete a three-game season sweep of host Santa Fe College. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
