WBK: Eagles Look To Bounce Back On The Road

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (November 21, 2014) – The TCC Eagles women's basketball team (5-1) will take on Georgia Perimeter College (1-5) Saturday Morning at 11:00am on the road.

The Eagles are coming off of a 70-65 loss to Santa Fe College in a game that saw the Eagles struggle offensively.  TCC shot only 25 percent from the field, which allowed Santa Fe College to come back from an early 13 point lead by the Eagles.

Georgia Perimeter College, which has seen its share of struggles early in the season, may be what the Eagles need to get back on track.   The Eagles and the Jaguars have met 14 times with the Eagles holding a series lead of 10-4.  The last time these two teams met were in 2012 in a game that saw the Jaguars pull away to a fifteen-point victory.  Early on in the series the Eagles had been dominant but over the last five years the series has equaled out with teams swapping victories.

Danielle Clark who averages 14.4 points per game on 33 percent shooting leads the Jaguars.  Their most efficient scorer is Cynteria Langhorne who is shooting 52.1 percent and averages 11.7 points per game while coming off the bench.  The Jaguars have three players that average five or more rebounds per game and the Eagles will need to fight defensively to limit second chance point opportunities for Georgia Perimeter.

The Eagles will look to get back on the winning track before heading home for a three game home stand in the Capital Courtyard Classic.
