MARIANNA, Fla. (December 12, 2015) – NJCAA No. 25/NJCAA Region 8 No. 5 Tallahassee Community College won its seventh straight game on Saturday, knocking off Ft. Benning (Ga.) Military Academy 102-53 in a neutral site game at Chipola College.
Tallahassee is now 10-3 on the season.
The Eagles were never threatened on Saturday, racing out to a 26-11 lead after the first quarter. Tallahassee put 23 points on the board in both the second and third quarters to extend its lead to 72-38.
The fourth quarter proved to be the most productive for the Eagles on Saturday, outscoring Ft. Benning 30-15.
Five players scored in double-figures for Tallahassee, led by Lawriell Wilson with 23 points.
Monique Calliste was next with 22 points followed by Lindsay John's 19.
Janessa Murphy had 15 and Destoni Willock, 11.
