TCC announces schedule for Capital Courtyard Classic

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 16, 2015) - Tallahassee Community College's women's basketball team will host the Capital Courtyard Classic, Thursday-Saturday, November 19-21, at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome.

The Classic, which will feature a total of 11 games over three days, is the signature home event on the Eagles' 2015-16 schedule. The field is comprised of four NJCAA and five high school teams, providing fans with a nice balance of collegiate and prep action.

In addition to Tallahassee, NJCAA schools participating in the event are Hillsborough Community College, Atlanta Metro State College and Darton (Ga.) State College.

On the prep front, Lincoln High School will be joined by independent high school powers TPLS (Va.) Christian Academy, IMG (Fla.) Academy, Forest Trail (N.C.) Academy and The Rock School.

Three games dot the day one schedule beginning at 3:30 p.m. when TPLS Christian Academy plays IMG. Tallahassee and Hillsborough will play the lone college game on day one at 5:30 p.m. Forest Trail and The Rock will close Thursday's action at 7:30 p.m.

Four games will be played on both Friday and Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively.

Tallahassee will play Atlanta Metro State at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Darton State at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Lincoln plays its only game of the event at 4:30 p.m. Saturday against The Rock.

General admission is $5.
