ATHENS, Texas (November 26, 2016) – Jas Hill scored 24 points to lead five players in double-figures for NJCAA Region 8 No. 3 Tallahassee Community College in a 90-71 win over Panola (Texas) College on the final day of play at the Budke/Serna Classic hosted by Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College.

Hill, who scored 33 points in Friday's win over McLennan (Texas) Community College, hit 7-of-16 shots from the field and 7-of-8 free throws.

Lawriell Wilson was next up with 16 points, followed by Janessa Murphy and Emani Clough with 12 apiece. Aryn Tarver added 10 points.

Tallahassee's winning streak now stands at five as the Eagles improved to 8-1 overall. Panola (7-1), meanwhile, suffered its first loss after opening the season with seven consecutive victories.

Another strong second half effort turned the game in Tallahassee's favor.

The Eagles went to the locker room leading 39-37 but outscored the Fillies 31-20 in the third quarter to take control.

Tallahassee will return to play on Thursday when it hosts Florida State College at Jacksonville to open the 2016 Florida College's Women's Basketball Shootout.
