A pair of free throws from Japonica James gave Tallahassee a 32-5 lead at the 2:26 mark, and the Eagles led 34-11 after a quarter.

Tallahassee only outscored Pensacola State by 13 points the rest of the way but the damage was done.

The lead reached 31 on a basket by Kiara Gaines at the 8:10 mark of the second quarter and hovered near the 30-point mark the rest of the quarter. Wilson scored a game-high 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. James had a double-double of her own – 25 points and 11 rebounds.
