#TCCBasketball: Eagle women roll again, down Cisco for 7th win

ATHENS, Texas (November 25, 2017) – NJCAA No. 7/Region 8 No. 2 Tallahassee Community College turned in another dominating performance on Saturday, defeating Cisco (Texas) College, 120-51, at the Budke/Serna Classic, hosted by Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College. 

Tallahassee hit the 120-point mark for the third time in its last four games while improving to 7-0 on the season. 

On getaway day in The Lone Star State, the Eagles wasted no time putting the Wranglers away. 

Jas Hill scored 13 of her game-high 24 points in the first quarter and Tallahassee led 32-6 after the first ten minutes. 

The Eagles stretched the lead to 53-21 at the half then delivered another offensive burst in the third quarter. 

Jamyra McChristine scored 12 points in the quarter, and Tallahassee outscored Cisco, 41-19, for a 94-40 lead.

The Eagles hit the century mark on Nakiah Black's basket with 8:14 left in the game and outscored the Wranglers 26-11 over the final ten minutes. 

Seven players, including Hill, scored in double-figures for Tallahassee. 

McChristine finished with 17, as did Victoria Pearce. Black scored 16. 

Japonica James had 12 while Mari Hill and Stella Logbognon had 10 points each. 

Tallahassee will return to action on Friday at the Florida College's Women's Basketball Shootout in Daytona Beach, Fla., with a showdown against NJCAA No. 19 Florida SouthWestern State College.
