#TCCBasketball: Eagles reach 10-0 with win over IRSC

FORT MYERS, Fla. (December 2, 2018) – NJCAA No. 5/Region 8 No. 2 Tallahassee Community College completed a successful weekend at the Florida College's Women's Basketball Shootout with a 101-46 victory over Indian River State College on Sunday afternoon. 

The Eagles are now 10-0 on the season. 

Sunday's game was never in doubt as Tallahassee opened the game on a 16-2 run and eventually led 23-4 after the first quarter. 

Indian River State didn't reach double-digits until the 2:25 mark of the second and scored only eight points in the quarter, the tenth time Tallahassee has allowed a single-digit quarter this season. 

Meanwhile, the Eagles ended the second on a 15-4 run and led 48-12 at the intermission. Tallahassee opened the second half on another 15-4 run and led 75-26 at the end of three. 

Indian River State opened the fourth quarter on a 7-2 run over the first four minutes before Tallahassee turned it on. The Eagles scored 24 points over the final six minutes, capped by a pair of free throws from Juliunn Redmond in the final seconds to push Tallahassee over the century mark. 

Redmond had another terrific all-around game, finishing with 15 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals. 

Daisha Bradford was the high-scorer for Tallahassee with 16 points. Victoria Pearce added 14. Aliyah Lawson had 11 and Rushell Jacob, 10.
