#TCCBasketball: Eagles pull away to down Palm Beach State

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (December 10, 2018) – NJCAA No. 3/Region 8 No. 2 Tallahassee Community College outscored Palm Beach State College, 51-23, in the second half to pull away from the Panthers and claim a 101-61 win on Monday evening.

With the win, Tallahassee improved to 13-0 and extended the following school records – an 18-game winning streak that dates back to last season, the sixth consecutive 100-point game and tenth 100-point game of the season.

Tallahassee jumped out to a 27-16 lead after one quarter but the host Panthers essentially played the Eagles even in the second. Tallahassee outscored Palm Beach State 23-22 and led 50-38 at the intermission.

A 28-point third quarter gave the Eagles some much-needed breathing room en route to a 78-55 lead, and they put the game away, outscoring the Panthers, 23-6, in the fourth – the 12th time this season they've allowed single digits in a quarter.

Daisha Bradford paced the Eagles' offensive attack with 22 points. Jady Perry had 15 points and Juliunn Redmond, 13.

Tallahassee will return to action on Tuesday when it plays at Broward College. Tip-off is at 5:30 p.m.
