Stepping Stones: Tameria Johnson, University of Delaware

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 18, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College women's basketball standout Tameria Johnson has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Delaware. 

Johnson, who is from Ocala, Fla., played in 27 games for the Florida Gators as a freshman in 2017-18 before transferring to Tallahassee. 

With the Eagles, the 5-foot-6 guard averaged 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists under former head coach Franqua "Q" Bedell, helping Tallahassee to a 25-5 record and No. 6 national ranking. 

Located in Newark, Del., the NCAA Division I Fightin' Blue Hens compete in the Colonial Athletic Association.
