Cross country runners earn Scholar All-America honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 5, 2021) – Members of Tallahassee Community College's cross country teams have been lauded for their academic achievements by the NJCAA Cross Country Coaches Association.

Five runners – four male, one female – were named NJCAA Division II Scholar All-Americans based on achieving a minimum 3.40 GPA during the Fall 2020 term.

Sophomores Rodolph Adonis and Mat Maier and freshmen Bryce Bass and Shawn Marcum – all members of the men's squad – along with freshman female runner Zoe' Doler, earned individual honors.

Adonis and Bass were two of just 18 male honorees who posted a 4.0 GPA during the fall.

Additionally, the men, with sophomore Austin Erbaio as the fifth member, received team recognition, finishing seventh overall among Division II schools with a 3.58 cumulative GPA.
