Three TCC Baseball Players Named to All-Panhandle Conference Team
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (May 7, 2024) –The Tallahassee Community College baseball team had three players selected to the All-Panhandle Conference teams. Catcher Boone Hosey (2nd Team), Infielder Jesus Vanegas (2nd Team), and Outfielder Hunter Rebhan (2nd Team).
Catcher Boone Hosey (RS Fr.) appeared in 46 games for the Eagles this season. He hit .318 with 3 home runs, and 36 RBI's. He notched the highest OBP on the team at .473. At catcher, he recorded the most put outs for the Eagles this season and threw out 4 would be base stealers.
Infielder Jesus Vanegas (RS So.) appeared in 42 Games this season hitting .327 with 7 home runs and 35 RBI's. He added 9 doubles this season while also hitting a triple. From his infield spot he was able to roll 7 double plays with 93 putouts.
Outfielder Hunter Rebhan (RS Fr.) appeared in 38 games for TCC this season and had the best batting average on the team at .365. He hit 5 homeruns and had 33 RBI's while adding 9 doubles. From the outfield he accounted for 2 double plays and had 39 putouts in 42 total chances.
