
#TCCBaseball’s Ethan Crout signs with Flagler College
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 21, 2016) – Tallahassee Community College baseball standout Ethan Crout has signed a national letter of intent with Flagler College.
Crout, a native of Neptune Beach, Fla., recently completed a two-year career with the Eagles in which he compiled a .328 batting average, one home run and 66 RBIs.
After batting .324 with 15 stolen bases in part-time duty (38 games) as a freshman, Crout became a full-time starter in centerfield in 2016. In 50 games, he batted .331 with one home run and 45 RBIs.
Crout was even better during Panhandle Conference play, posting a .397 batting average and shared team-high honors with 19 RBIs in 20 games. Those numbers earned him Second-team All-Panhandle Conference honors from the league coaches.
Crout was recently named to the Panhandle Conference All-Academic Team for the second straight year and earned FCSAA All-Academic honors in 2015.
Flagler, an NCAA Division II school located in St. Augustine, Fla., competes in the Peach Belt Conference.
