Eagles fall to Southern Union for first loss of the season

The Eagles fought hard, but the Southern Union Bison had enough fire power to secure an 82-79 win and hand the Eagles their first loss of the season at the Northwest Florida Classic.

Addison Patterson led the way for the Eagles, scoring 26 points. Malachi Davis also tallied 23 points. The Bison led by ten 43-33 at the half but the Eagles rallied their way back.

The Eagles struggled to neutralize Southern Union guard Marcus Hill, who scored 23 points.

TCC will have a chance at balancing the record as they play Southern Union again on Saturday, November 26 at the Milton H. Johnson Center in Marianna, FL as part of Chipola's Thanksgiving Classic. First, the Eagles will look to rebound tomorrow against Coastal Alabama – South. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM ET (2:00 PM CT).
