TORONTO, Ont. (July 13, 2023) — Former TCC guard Addison Patterson is representing his home country this week, playing for Team Canada's U23 Men's National Team at GloblJam. Earlier this week, Canada defeated Africa 88-62. Patterson finished with 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists in the victory.

Thursday night, Canada fell to Kentucky 93-69. Kentucky is representing the United States in the tournament. Against the Wildcats, Patterson finished with 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting. He also picked up five rebounds and one assist. Suiting up for Kentucky are two five-star recruits, Justen Edwards and D.J. Wagner, ranked third and fifth, respectively, in the 247 Sports 2023 recruiting rankings.

Canada will play two more games in the tournament. On Friday, they'll take on Germany and on Sunday they will either play in the bronze or gold game depending on Friday's results.

Patterson recently signed with Northwestern State, where he will once again play for former TCC head coach Rick Cabrera. Patterson is one of two players from the 2022-23 team that will be playing for the Demons this season, joining JC Riley.
