Tallahassee State Eagles Secure Victory in Final Game Before Christmas Break

Tallahassee, FL – December 17th 2024 -  The Tallahassee State Eagles men's basketball team triumphed in a thrilling match against St. Pete, securing a 77-73 victory in their final game before the Christmas break.

  • Julius Clark: Lead the way with 17 points and grabbed 7 tough rebounds.
  • Cole Crissman: Also pulled down 7 rebounds, and scored 14 points shooting 4-6 from three.
  • Turner Harris: Had 10 points, and dished out 4 assists. 
  • Kobe George: Was 2-2 from three and 4-5 from the field, adding 10 points.
  • Julius King Jr: Was a spark off the bench scoring 14 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and going 9-10 from the free throw line. 

It was a team effort, with standout performances from both starters and reserves. The team's overall shooting percentages were 37.9% from the field, 45.8% from three-point range, and 73.3% from the free-throw line.

The Eagles' defense was also pivotal, with the team collectively securing 34 rebounds and 6 steals. Despite some turnovers, the team's resilience led them to outlast St. Pete in a competitive game.

The Tallahassee State Eagles will return to action after the holidays, as they match up at home against South East Prep on January 2nd.
