TCC Alum Jania Davis named to first-team All-SWAC
TCC alum Jania Davis received first-team All-SWAC honors after a stellar regular season for the FAMU Rattlers.
Davis hit .328 and stole 14 bases while patrolling center field for the Rattlers. She recorded 64 putouts and eight outfield assists, making just three errors throughout the campaign. FAMU finished the regular season with a 20-22 (13-11) record, and are currently playing in the SWAC Softball Tournament.
Davis had an incredible two-year career for TCC, playing in 59 games recording 86 hits and 42 stolen bases. She hit .426 with the Eagles, including a .477 mark in her sophomore season. That season she was named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year and received first-team FCSAA All-State honors.
