Sarai Estupinan receives Second-Team All-Panhandle Honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 3, 2023) – All-Panhandle Conference Teams and Awards were released by the FCSAA on Friday afternoon, and Sarai Estupinan was received Second-Team All-Pahnandle Conference honors. 

"Sarai was someone I could count on at the point guard position," said head coach Mercedes Corona. "Even when the season wasn't going the way we wanted it to, I could count on her to play hard and run our offense." 

Estupinan led TCC in scoring with with 13.0 points per game, shooting 33.6% from the field. Estupinan finished the regular season in second for Region 8 in free throw percentage (81.1%). On January 1 against St. Petersburg, Estupinan scored a career-high 25 points, shooting 8-for-14 from the field.
