#TCCBasketball vs. Chipola Preview

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (January 9, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams will play their Panhandle Conference home opener on Tuesday by hosting arch-rival Chipola College. 

The women's game tips at 5:30 p.m. eastern while the men are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Both games can be seen live on TCCeagles.com. 

Women's Preview 

If there's ever a scenario when game two of a 12-game conference schedule can be described as "pivotal," this is probably it. Tallahassee wants to avoid a 0-2 start in Panhandle Conference play after dropping Saturday's league opener at top-ranked Gulf Coast State College (81-67). 

Tonight marks the Indians' PC debut after having the bye on opening night. 

For both teams, it's the next in what expects to be 12 straight games against nationally-ranked opponents. 

Men's Preview 

The Eagles opened the PC schedule in impressive fashion on Saturday with a 91-73 win at Gulf Coast State. The task will be even tougher on Tuesday, facing an Indians squad who is 12-3 and opened the season ranked 11^th in the country. 

Chipola's lineup features one of the top JUCO prospects in the country – 6-foot-10 center Yuat Alok, ranked No. 1 overall by JUCOrecruiting.com and No. 3 in Florida by Lineage of Champions.
