Stepping Stones: Alycia Smith, Webber University
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 25, 2017) – Tallahassee Community College softball standout Alycia Smith has signed a national letter of intent with Webber University.
Smith, a native of Palm Coast, Fla., was a two-year starter (2016-17) in the Eagles’ outfield for head coach Patti Townsend.
In 80 career games, Smith batted .246 with 49 runs scored, 21 RBIs and 27 stolen bases. As a freshman, her 20 stolen bases ranked eighth among all Panhandle Conference players.
Academically, Smith earned all-academic recognition from the Panhandle Conference in 2017.
Webber, an NAIA school located in Babson Park, Fla., competes in The Sun Conference.
