Another runner who enjoyed success at the high school level and will be counted on to contribute immediately with the Eagles' inaugural team.

2016: Ran a time of 30:09.40 in the Cougar XC Challenge...crossed the stripe with a time of 30:43 at the Prefontaine Forest Run 5K...missed the last half of the season due to injuries.

High School: Graduated from the McKeel Academy in Lakeland, Fla., and ran cross country for coach Justin Smith...began her cross country career in the sixth grade.

Personal: Daughter of Sherry Shearon and Dean Carithers...celebrates a September 10 birthday...plans to major in mechanical engineering.
