TCC Celebrates the Career of Coach Mike McLeod

Longtime Tallahassee Community College head baseball coach, Mike McLeod, will coach his last regular-season home game at Eagle Field on Wednesday, April 27. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The College will host a pregame reception at 4:30 p.m. at the Eagle Field Pavilion. Former players and fans are invited to attend.
Ethan Firoved named FCSAA Player of the Week

Ethan Firoved (Fr., LHP) was named an FCSAA Player of the Week, following his complete game shutout against Pensacola State on Saturday, April 9th. In that game Firoved threw seven innings, allowing just three hits, no runs, striking out seven and walking none. He earned his eighth win of the season.
Brett Gwinn walk-off HR completes sweep over Pensacola State

The Eagles picked up two wins in a home doubleheader against Pensacola State, powered by a complete game shutout from Ethan Firoved (Fr., LHP) and a three-run walk-off home run from Brett Gwinn (Fr., RHP/INF). They are now all alone in second place in the Panhandle Conference, one game behind Chipola with eight games left to play.
Josh Pigozzo named Region 8 Player of the Week

Josh Pigozzo (So., OF) was named Region 8 Player of the Week by the FCSAA earlier today. Last week, Pigozzo had a .600 batting average, driving in 10 runs over four games against the Gulf Coast State Commodores.
