Freshman Year at TCC: The catcher played in 43 of the 44 games on the season with 121 at bats, 39 hits landing her at 2^nd most on the team, and 21 scored runs…2^nd best on the season batting average of .322 and OPB of .390…got on base with 3 doubles on the seasons and 2 triples…drove in 19 RBIs and walked a total of 12 times on the season with 5 stolen bases…defensively accumulated 147 total chances and capitalizing on 113 put outs with 30 assists from behind home plate…at the end of the season, Cecchetti was named to the NFCA’s All-South Regions second team and the Coaches’ All-Panhandle Conference Team as a First Team Catcher…went 2-for-3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBIs against Illinois Central College January 30^th…drove in 1 additional run on her double when she went 1-for-2 scoring in the inning as well as taking a walk in the win vs. Abraham Baldwin in game 2 on February 10^th…in her first 9 games of the season, she went a perfect 40-for-40 from behind the plates in total chances and outs, both assists and put-outs…in her best defensive game of the season, she went 8-for-8 in put outs from behind the plate with an additional 3 assists, leaving her at 11-for-11 with total chances…vs. St Petersburg in the double header on February 27^th, she went a perfect 9-for-9 defensively combined between the two games…when playing Abraham Baldwin at their place, she went 3-for-4 scoring twice and hitting 2 triples while at bat while going 4-for-4 defensively on March 8^th…in game 1 vs. Northwest Florida State College (March 16) she was named Eagle of the Game when she went 1-for-2 with the bat, was one of the 3 hits the eagles had, and played flawless defense…went 2-for-3 with an RBI at Chipola on March 20^th…March 31 got on base twice, once on a walk and the second on a hit while remaining error free from behind the plate…for the second time of the season, named TCC Eagle of the Game against Northwest Florida State on April 2 in game 1 where she went 1-for-2...in the double header vs. Chipola went 2-for-3 in both games on April 5^th…in the final game of the season, she was named Eagle of the Game at the State Tournament on April 29^th (for the 3^rd time on the season) where she went 3-for-4 with an additional RBI to cap off a 5-for-7 afternoon at the tournament and was also error free from behind the plate capitalizing on 3-for-3 outs…in the final 12 games of the season, she got hits in 9 of those final games, oftentimes more than one.

High School: Graduated from Falcone Borsellino Advances Sciences in Bollate, Italy...played for Coach Luigi Soldi.

Personal: Plans to study Journalism and was born on August 21^st…daughter of Maria Gisella Seratoni and Guiseppe Cecchetti...relative of Greta Cecchetti, who played softball at Polk State College and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Lara Cecchetti, who played for Blinn College in Texas...played club ball for Bollate Softball 1969 and was a part of the Italian National Team from 2011-13 and 2015-2016.
